Weddings & celebrations
Cakes made to order, a few each month.
Soft buttercream you can see the strokes in, fruit from the same growers we buy from all week, flowers gathered rather than arranged. Nothing here is a fixed product — every cake is written for the day it's going to.

Flavors
A place to start
These are combinations we come back to. Most cakes end up somewhere near one of them, shifted for the season.
Olive oil & citrus
Lemon curd, mascarpone buttercream, candied peel.
Brown butter & pear
Roasted pear, brown sugar buttercream, a little cardamom.
Almond & summer berry
Almond sponge, crushed raspberry, vanilla bean cream.
Chocolate & malt
Dark chocolate cake, malted ganache, salted caramel.
How it goes
- 01
Tell us about the day
Send the date, the place, roughly how many people, and anything you already have in mind.
- 02
We write back
Within a few days, with flavor suggestions, a sketch of the cake, and a quote.
- 03
Taste, if you'd like
Tasting boxes are available for weddings, picked up on a Saturday.
- 04
We bake it that week
Your cake is made in the days before the event and ready for pickup or local delivery.
Gluten-free cakes are available most of the year.
Ask when you write — we'll tell you honestly what we can do for the date, and whether a full gluten-free cake or a separate tier makes more sense.
